The next week will feel so long.
Speed doodle, Colin’s scarf was supposed to be twisted on his shoulder, but looking at it now, it doesn’t really appear that way. (lol)
The weather has been really pleasant, and leaves are growing on the trees. I spent some time sketching them earlier today. I know my backgrounds are really weak, especially when it comes to nature. Even with reference, I’m not sure how to depict mountains or rock texture. I’ve been wanting to draw better backgrounds; not necessarily more details, but I’d like the atmosphere to be more realistic.
Recently, my self-esteem has dropped a bit because of the background blues. I think it’s reflecting on the recent GC pages and output. I’ll try not to worry about it so much, but it’s been difficult. I’ll keep practicing.
I’ve also dropped a lot of addictive places on the web, and plan to close some accounts that feel redundant to use. It feels like I do too much and I’ve realized I’ve placed GC below these things, and that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
